Directions:
Aldborough is a particularly pretty village, within walking distance of Boroughbridge (3⁄4 mile SE of Boroughbridge) on a minor road off B6265 and within 1 mile of junction of A1 and A6055. From Leeds travel via the A58 to Wetherby and thereafter take the A1 northbound to junction 48. It is about a 50 minute drive from Leeds city centre. Newcastle is about a one hour drive away and Manchester about one hour, thirty minutes.
Built on the foundations of a major Roman city, this historic village plays host to many of the Aldborough Festival events.
Parking:
Signposts will direct cars to the car park (off the B6265). From the car Park it is a short walk to the gardens. Car parking is free to the guests.
