Artists:
Born in Warwickshire in 1979, Juliette Bausor studied at the Purcell School of Music, Banff Centre for the Arts, in Canada and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. In 2001 Juliette won the Gold Medal, Harrods Bank Prize and Worshipful Company of Dyers Award in the Royal Over-Seas League Competition and the Woodwind Final of the BBC Young Musician of the Year Competition in 1998. In 1997 she won the Gold Medal in the Shell/LSO Competition, playing the Nielsen Flute Concerto with the London Symphony Orchestra in the Barbican Hall. Juliette is now flute section leader of Northern Sinfonia.
Tim Horton shot to prominence when at short notice he replaced Alfred Brendel in Schoenberg’s Piano Concerto with the CBSO and Simon Rattle in 1995. Since then he has enjoyed
a reputation as one of the leading exponents of contemporary classical music, performing with ensembles including Ensemble 360 and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra.
