Back by popular demand with their new show Vocal Vices .......'where the voice is nice - and the singing simply divine...'

Passion, Romance and Drama have never been so much fun!

Take seven deadly sins, a fistful of modern vices, a pride of singers and an almost penitent pianist, for a night of pure entertainment heaven.  After their sell-out sucess at last year's festsival, the irrepresible Hatstand Opera return with 'Vocal Vices' , their naughty new show that's greedy for good tunes, lustful for laughter but never too proud to be fun !

Hatstand Opera say their shows are like the weather; if you don’t like what they are singing now, wait five minutes and it will change! Most extracts are sung in English, including at least two popular ‘pot-boilers’ and something really unusual for buffs. No need for subtitles, when compere and Mezzo Kirsty Young introduces who’s singing what, when and most importantly, why!

Hatstand Opera have performed for packed audiences in castles, National Trust properties, village halls, art galleries, stately homes, gardens and theatres alike. With a ‘go-anywhere policy, Hatstand have sung at the Liberation Celebrations in Guernsey, for 7000 people in open air, under the 17th century Dutch masters at the National Gallery, for charity galas from Aberystwyth to Wick, at the Barbican Centre and a vineyard in Western Australia! Hatstand singers also perform with a wide variety of companies from Glyndebourne, Covent Garden, English National Opera and Phantom of the Opera.
