We are delighted that Michael Roll (the first prize winner of the very first Leeds International Piano Competition) will be opening the 2008 Festival in Aldborough Church.
This concert will mark the 10th Anniversary of the ATM Trust and it seems very fitting to have Michael for this special concert as the Tapp family have been associated with the LIPC since its inception in 1963.
Michael performs all over the world and most recently gave an outstanding performance of the Beethoven Appassionata Sonata which was the prize winning piece he played when he was just 17 years old.
